Oil on canvas This painting is the second in the Jazz/Blues series. "It just felt right to have a black woman singer. Black women can have such powerful voices and such rythm. It brings me back to that Tuck and Patti concert Steve and I saw in Vancouver, B.C. in 1993 (minus the red shoes!). I wanted to get that feeling. "Make sure to look at it also in its square shape."
