Red Head ©2004 Oil on canvas "Like most of my paintings now, the inspiration for "Red Head" ("Le Rouquin") comes from a dream. However, the image I saw was that of a very imposing manly man. When I tried to sketch it out, it did not talk to me. I started doodling and eventually I saw this character appear and I really liked him. "I am especially fond of this painting because of its contrasts: contrast in colors, but also contrast of the male versus his sexuality and lastly, the controversy that homosexuality or cross-dressing can raise in contrast with the angelic look of this character."                                                   Jacqueline Pricing             Order 1.360.260.8149
